Angry protesters have staged big rallies in Egypt after ex-President Hosni Mubarak was jailed for life for his part in the killing of protesters during Egypt's 2011 revolution.
Protesters have gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square and other parts of the country to protest against the acquittal of top six police officers who were in charge to suppress the uprising last year.
Earlier in the day an Egyptian court sentenced former President Hosni Mubarak to life in prison but his sons, Alaa and Gamal, were acquitted on separate corruption charges.
