Robin Gibb will be remembered at a June 8 funeral service to be held in the U.K.
Rolling Stone reports that the service will be a private one for family and friends only, and the Gibb family have requested that no flowers be sent. For those wishing to contribute, they urge donations to the Rebecca House and Wish Upon a Dream organizations.
Gibb's son Robin-John (aka RJ) spoke with the Sunday Express and revealed that there would be a public memorial for him as well:
"We have the private funeral to plan, which will be in June to give time for his relatives and loved ones to get here. We've been discussing hymns and songs. There will be some Bee Gee tracks, though we don't know which yet, and maybe Roy Orbison's "Crying."
