R. Kelly has released 30-second snippets of the 12-track standard edition of his forthcoming album, Write Me Back. The LP will be released in 12 and 16-song formats on June 26 through RCA Records.
"Share My Love," the lead single from the LP, reached the one spot on urban adult radio. Writing and production credits on the album go entirely to R. Kelly.
It is Kelly's first album for RCA, after RCA Music Group closed operations on Jive Records, Kelly's former label. In addition to gearing up for the release of Write Me Back, Kelly is also said to be working on a sequel to his 1993 debut 12 Play, entitled Black Panties.
