Lauryn Hill and Nas took the stage at New York's Summer Jam at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey over the weekend where they were rumored to have replaced Nicki Minaj.

Minaj was pulled from the line-up by Young Money boss Lil' Wayne after DJ Peter Rosenberg, mocked Minaj's single "Starships," calling it "bulls**t."

Nas played an extensive set for the crowd, including his latest hit "The Don."

"We back up on this motherf****n' stage like we never left," said the Queens MC.

Likewise, Hill came out swinging, opening with her signature jam "Ready or Not."

Additionally, the pair teamed up for a duet on "If I Ruled the World."

Rap-Up reports that Hill and Nas were initially supposed to be Minaj's surprise guests before she pulled out.
