Stone Temple Pilots have announced additional tour dates in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the release of their 1992 debut album, Core.
The San Diego natives will now hit shows in Mashantucket, Connecticut; Huntington, New York; and Gilford, New Hampshire in late August before headlining an already scheduled show at Rock Allegiance in Hershey, Pennsylvania on September 1.
Following the festival, the group will play a gig at the Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas on September 20.
Fans who attend any of the shows will have the chance to win a meet-and-greet VIP package. The VIP package also offers a limited-edition poster, unique tour shirt, autographed photo and a reserved seat in the first 10 rows at the concert.
In other STP news, the band will release their DVD, Alive in the Windy City, today (June 5). The DVD documents the band's 2010 presentation at the Riviera Theater in Chicago.
