Actress Danica McKellar, best known for her role as Winnie Cooper on the series "The Wonder Years," has filed for divorce from her husband, composer Mike Verta. The pair tied the knot in 2009 and McKellar filed the paper work in a Los Angeles court on June 1 citing irreconcilable differences.
McKellar and Verta have one child together, a 1-year-old son name Draco. According to People.com, McKellar is seeking full custody of the boy. She hit Twitter earlier this month to thank friends and fans for their support, writing: "Thank you so much for all your love and support during a tough time!"
The pair were married in La Jolla, California and Verta reportedly penned original music for the wedding. McKellar's sister spoke with People.com after the wedding saying that the actress had "married the love of her life."
