Turkey's industrial production grew at a slower pace of 1.8 percent in April from a year ago, the statistical office reported Friday. This follows March's 2.6 percent increase, but better than a flat reading expected by economist.
Annually, calendar adjusted industrial output grew 4.5 percent in April.
Month-on-month, production fell 4.4 percent after expanding 10.9 percent in March. Meanwhile, seasonally and calendar adjusted production rose 1 percent on a monthly basis.
