At 4.30 am ET Friday, U.K. producer prices for May and BoE/GfK inflation expectations survey results are due. Ahead of these reports, the pound showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the pound fell against the yen and the greenback, it recovered from early lows against the franc and the euro.
At 4:25 am ET, the pound was worth 1.5439 against the greenback, 122.09 against the yen, 0.8082 against the euro and 1.4870 against the franc.
