"Harry Potter" star Emma Watson has reportedly signed on to appear in Darren Aronofsky's upcoming drama "Noah." According to new reports from Variety.com, Watson is considering the role of Ila, the love interest of Noah's son Shem, who will be played by Douglas Booth.
Watson will join a growing cast for the film, which already includes Russell Crowe in the lead role. Thus far the roles of the antagonist and Noah's wife are still uncast. Rumors have spread, however, that those roles will be filled by Liev Schreiber and Jennifer Connelly.
The news comes at busy time for Watson, who has several big screen projects in the works. She is set to appear in Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring" and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's comedy "End Of The World." Since finishing with the Harry Potter series she has also appeared in "My Week With Marilyn" and "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower."
