Gendis Inc. (GDS.TO: Quote) reported first-quarter net income of C$0.2 million or C$0.02 per share, compared to the net loss of C$0.3 million or C$0.02 per share in the same period last year.
The company attributed the increase in earnings to reduction in fair value declines for investment properties over the quarter.
Total revenue for the quarter declined to C$1.5 million from C$1.6 million in the year-ago comparable quarter.
