"Jersey Shore" cast member, Deena Cortese, was arrested over the weekend for disorderly conduct after she left a bar and subsequently began dancing in the street.
"Deena walked out of a bar by herself and started to dance in traffic. An unidentified driver was attempting to drive around her and she wouldn't let him pass," Detective Steve Korman told E! News.
"An officer arrested her and she was charged with disorderly conduct. She was processed and released," he added.
Seaside Heights Police Chief Tommy Boyd, speaking with New York's WNBC TV, noted that she was "a little intoxicated" and "slapping" cars as they passed.
"Nothing major, but we can't put up with it," Chief Boyd concluded.
The reality show recently began filming a new season in the Seaside Heights community.
