Highlights included the RHCP classics "Give It Away," "Suck My Kiss," "Under the Bridge," "Scar Tissue," their cover of Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground," as well as their more recent hits "Monarchy of Roses," "Factory of Faith" and "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie."

Others taking the stage on the fest's third day included the Roots, D'Angelo and Alice Cooper.

The Peppers are also set to headline this year's Lollapalooza.
