Gretchen Wilson has released "One Good Friend," her first new single in over a year.
The track was written by Bekka Bramlett, Billy Burnette and Dennis Morgan with Blake Chancey, who also co-produced her last LP, Got Your Country Right Here:
"The first time I heard this song it blew me away," Gretchen told Country Music Tattletale. "The lyric hit me really hard, and fans . . . are telling me it's doing the same thing to them."
Gretchen is currently on the Gangs of Outlaws tour along with ZZ Top and 3 Doors Down, which she says has been instrumental in getting her music out to fans other than those of country music:
"People are coming up to me and saying, 'I've never heard of you, but I'm buying all of your music!' This has been a great opportunity to get out and hit a totally new audience."
