After moving sideways in the Asian session on Wednesday, the pound is falling slightly against the currencies of Europe and Switzerland ahead of the European deals. At present, the pound is worth 1.4944 against the franc and 0.8042 against the euro, compared to yesterday's close of 1.4960 and 0.8033, respectively.
