Two service-members of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) have been killed in separate incidents of IED (improvised explosive device) attack in southern Afghanistan.
One soldier died in an IED attack on Tuesday, while the other was killed on Wednesday, ISAF said in separate statements.
It did not reveal the nationality of the victims as per ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.
With this, the number of foreign troops killed in Afghanistan this year rose to 199.
