Lady Gaga tweeted a photo of the black eye she received after hitting her head on a pole during a performance of the track "Judas" on her current Born This Way Ball tour in Auckland, New Zealand.
In the update, Gaga quipped that the shiner is not in keeping with usual sense of style:
"Emerging from hours of sleep. Still remiss [sic] if I should go outside, with this clonker I may be of questionable styling."
She added that, although she was in pain, her recovery is moving quickly and she's thrilled to continue the tour:
"Thank you so much for all the thoughtful messages. I feel a bit woozy but a little better everyday. Very happy to be in beautiful Australia."
Gaga suffered a concussion in the incident but continued on with the show.
