Mulberry Group plc (MUL.L) posted 54% higher pre-tax profit of 36.0 million pounds for the full year, versus 23.34 million pounds reported a year before. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent was 25.30 million pounds, an increase from last year's 17.06 million pounds.
Annual earnings per share climbed to 43.4 pence from 29.1 pence in the prior-year period.
Revenue for the year ended March 31, 2012 totaled 168.45 million pounds, compared with 121.64 million pounds a year earlier. During the 10 weeks to June 1, 2012 total retail sales grew 12% above the same period last year.
