Bristol Palin has reportedly been slapped with a defamation lawsuit by a man that heckled her in a bar during the filming of her reality series "Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp." Stephen Hanks allegedly shouted comments about Bristol's mother, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, while the young mom was taking a mechanical bull ride at a Hollywood bar last summer.

The incident was taped and used as part of the show, but according to a report from eonline.com, Hanks claims that he never consented to appear in the show. Palin's legal team will reportedly move to have the suit thrown out on grounds that Hanks' heckling was ploy to gain media attention.

"He felt this was the only way he could protect his rights," Hanks' attorney Michael Gulden explained. "He was with friends when he observed that Bristol was on the mechanical bull. And several of the bar patrons began to talk about their general dislike of the politics of the Palins."
