Linkin Park has signed on to perform at the inaugural MTV World Stage Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on September 12. The program will be broadcast in the region via MTV Latin America on October 8. It will be broadcast around the world on dates to-be-determined.
"It's been so long since the last time we performed in Mexico. We cannot wait to celebrate the launch of our new album with our fabulous Mexican fans," commented Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park.
"MTV World Stage continues to be an ideal platform to connect with fans in Mexico and Latin America," commented Eduardo Lebrija, Senior Vice President/CEO of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) The Americas Mexico.
"For the third consecutive year Mexico will host MTV World Stage and Monterrey - Nuevo Leon will live the thrill of hosting an international music event with Linkin Park," he added.
