Asia Pacific Wire & Cable Corp. Ltd. (APWC) Thursday said its first-quarter profit attributable to shareholders declined to $0.8 million or $0.06 per share from $2.7 million or $0.20 per share in the same period last year. The profit was hurt mainly by lower revenues.
First-quarter revenues totaled $98.3 million, down 19.3 percent from $121.8 million last year.
Selling, General and Administrative expenses for the quarter increased 11.4 percent to $7.9 million from $7.1 million last year.
