Cubic Energy Receives Court Order Confirming Arbitration Award - Quick Facts

Cubic Energy Inc. (QBC: Quote) said Friday it received a ruling from the District Court in Dallas County, Texas, confirming the Arbitration Award previously announced with respect to the dispute with EXCO Operating Co. LP and BG US Production Co. as to drilling credits pertaining to the company's Northwest Louisiana acreage.

The company said the Arbitration is subject to a Confidentiality Order.

China Manufacturing Contracts As New Orders Slump

China's manufacturing sector contracted for the first time in seven months in May amid poor demand, fueling concerns that the weakness in the economy may persist for some more time.
