BoJ Monthly Economic Report Due On Monday

The Bank of Japan will on Monday release its monthly economic report, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

Japan also will see the May results of condominium sales and department store sales, both nationwide and in the Tokyo region. Condominium sales surged 81.7 percent on year in April, while nationwide store sales added an annual 1.3 percent and Tokyo store sales collected 6.7 percent.

Australia will provide May figures for new motor vehicle sales; they were down 0.7 percent on month and up 7.3 percent on year in April.

Hong Kong will announce the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for May. Forecasts suggest no change from 3.3 percent in April.
