Usher has announced that he will be performing at the 2012 BET Awards, which will be airing live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on July 1 at 8 p.m.
Other artists who have just joined the lineup for the awards show along with the "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" singer include Big Sean and 2 Chainz.
Big Sean, who is nominated for three awards, including Best new Artist, will be returning for his second time to the BET Awards, and this will be 2 Chainz's first time appearing at the event.
Previously announced acts for the BET Awards include Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. Comedians Kevin Hart and Cedric the Entertainer are set to present awards. The event will be hosted by Samuel L. Jackson.
