Since Carrie Underwood took the stance of supporting gay marriage it has sparked some heated debate among others.
The former American Idol champion believes that "we should all have the right to love, and love publicly, the people that we want to love." She made the controversial statement during an interview with the London newspaper The Independent.
Several people are against the fact she's for gay marriage, but at the same time many people are commending her for speaking out about her strong position on the issue.
One person against her stance wrote:
"If GOD says it makes Him sick . . . . . . . then to all Christians alike . . . . it should make them sick to their stomachs as well."
Then there were others who were more supportive, like this person who wrote:
"It's good to see a Christian actually practicing the love of Christ. Thank you."
Underwood released her latest album, Blown Away, on May 1. She recently released a preview of the video for the title track.
