AT&T (T: Quote) on Monday said it has teamed up with Language Line Services, a leader in over-the-phone interpretation and language services.

Announcing On Demand Interpreter, the telecom giant said with just two keystrokes on a mobile phone callers can reach professionally trained interpreters in seconds all through the day, seven days a week.

With the push of 4 ("I" for interpreter), the caller is directed to a voice recognition service and asked to speak the name of the desired language needed. AT&T On Demand Interpreter then rapidly connects with interpreters spanning over 170 languages.

The service enables organizations to easily communicate with limited English-speakers in their most familiar and comfortable native languages.
