China's home prices continued to decline in May, with 54 out of 70 cities surveyed by the government declining from a year ago, the National Bureau of Statistics said Monday. In April, prices declined in 46 cities.
On a monthly basis, house prices were down in 40 cities, compared to 43 cities logging decreases in April.
Beijing house prices were unchanged in May from the previous month. In Shanghai and Guangzhou, house prices dropped 0.1 percent each.
