Jack Osbourne, son of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The former reality star described his reaction learning he had an autoimmune disease in a recent interview with People:
"While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry. Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point - if anything it's only going to make it worse."
Osbourne, 26, recently had his first child, Pearl Clementine, with his fiancée. He noted that the diagnosis couldn't have come at a worse time:
"The timing was so bad. I'd just had a baby, work was going great - I kept thinking: 'Why now?"'
The symptoms of MS can range from the mild (e.g. lack of muscle control, disorientation) to the severe (e.g. paralysis).
