Eric Church has announced a make-up date for a concert he missed due to severe weather at Buffalo, New York's Taste of Country 2012 music festival earlier this month.

The hitmaker was set to take the stage at the event following performances by Casey James, Dustin Lynch, Eli Young Band and Joe Nichols when high winds forced an early end to the show.

Church will now take to the stage in Buffalo on July 14, this time with JT Hodges and Buffalo native Maddie Larkin. Those who held tickets to the Taste of Country fest will get free admission to the headliner's make-up date.

"I'm very bummed the show got canceled tonight. I've learned in doing this, that some things are out of your hands and this is one of those things," the singer told a local country radio station following the original event. "I owe the city of Buffalo one, and I intend to make good on that."
