IHS Inc. (IHS) shares fell more than 3% in extended hours trading after the information and analytics company announced the commencement of a secondary public offering of 8 million shares of its Class A common stock by Conscientia Investment Ltd. The company also reported second quarter profit that increased from last year and beat analysts' estimate.
Shares of J.C. Penney Co Inc (JCP) slumped more than 5% in late trading after the retailer said that Michael Francis, President, will be leaving the company, effective June 18. Francis was responsible for marketing and merchandising.
Western Gas Partners, LP (WES) shares slipped more than 3% in after hours trading after the company announced a public offering of 5.0 million common units representing limited partner interests.
