IMF Gets $456Bln For Crisis-Fighting Fund

The International Monetary Fund received $456 billion to add to its crisis firewall as more nations pledged financial aid to fight the slowdown in global growth and the Eurozone debt crisis.

China offered $43 billion to the IMF, while India, Russia, Brazil and Mexico agreed to provide $10 billion each.

A total of 12 countries pledged financial support to boost the IMF resources during the ongoing G20 meeting in Los Cabos in Mexico.
