Jabil Circuit Inc. (JBL: Quote) reported third quarter core EPS of $0.64 after the bell Tuesday, up from $0.58 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.64. Fourth quarter core EPS is expected to be between $0.54 and $0.66, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.68.
Jabil Circuit rose during the first hour of trade Tuesday and finished higher by 1.33 at $20.75, with volume at a 9-month high. The stock broke out to over a one-month high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
