Bankers Investment Trust 6-month Profit Down - Quick Facts

Bankers Investment Trust Plc (BNKR.L) posted lower first-half pre-tax profit of 36.16 million pounds, compared with 50.02 million pounds last year. Six-month profit amounted to 35.76 million pounds, down from 49.68 million pounds a year ago.

Earnings per ordinary share slid to 32.22 pence from 44.72 pence in the prior-year period.

Total income for the half year ended April 30, 2012 dropped to 38.46 million pounds from 52.28 million pounds in the comparable period.
