Sberbank of Russia and Boeing Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding or MoU aimed at extension of cooperation in the sphere of aviation financing and leasing on the markets of Russia and CIS.

The company said that the aviation financing market in Russia and CIS tends to develop and it is one of the most perspective markets in the world.

The cooperation of Sberbank with the Boeing Company shows the intention of both parties to generate favorable conditions for airline companies in Russia and CIS for expanding and renewing the aircraft fleets with reliable aircrafts, which have won confidence world-wide.

Going by the latest market forecast of the Boeing Company for the next 20 years, the demand for the aircrafts in Russia and CIS shall reach about 960 aircrafts with the total value of $110 bln. Most of these aircrafts shall be required already during the next decade in order to replace the obsolescent aircraft fleets of Russian carriers.
