For fans that can't wait another month until they see the conclusion of Christopher Nolan's highly touted Batman trilogy, Warner Brothers has released yet another full-length trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" loaded with new footage.
Though the other trailers focused more on introducing new characters Bane (Tom Hardy) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway), this time it's full speed ahead with an endless series of action sequences sure to satisfy mainstream fans until the movie's release.
After the incredibly successful sequel, this time around the filmmakers seem to have upped the stakes yet again by making Batman the centerpiece of an all-out war for Gotham City, and the trailer isn't shy about suggesting that it's going to be an epic finale. But just to show that it won't all be grim and serious, the trailer also wisely features Michael Caine ribbing Christian Bale and a gag about where you park a flying Batmobile, staying consistent with the light side we saw from "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight."
It also looks like Batman will once more have to find a way to beat an unstoppable villain, though the latest trailer also suggests that it will be just as dark and complex character-wise as the first two.
Following two extremely well-received entries in the revitalized "Batman" franchise, "The Dark Knight Rises" could cap one of the most critically revered action trilogies of all-time on a high note.

Box office outlook:
The only question is whether or not "The Dark Knight Rises" will have enough hype to break the $207 million opening weekend record of "The Avengers."
With such strong audience support and respect from even non-action fans, the Batman franchise has become an unstoppable force of mainstream appeal and critical applause.
"The Dark Knight Rises" won't have the perfect release timing of "The Avengers," which had virtually no competition, but that won't stop it from cruising past $1 billion worldwide and potentially topping "The Avengers" to become the number one grossing movie of the year.
