Board of Ramtron International Corp. (RMTR) Thursday said it will carefully review and consider the unsolicited acquisition offer from Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (CY).
Earlier today, Cypress Semiconductor offered to buy Ramtron International for $2.68 per share in cash. This represents a 48 percent premium over Ramtron's closing price of $1.81 per share on June 11, the day before Cypress publicly disclosed its offer.
Ramtron's said its Board plans to advise stockholders of its recommendation within ten business days.
