Aware Completes Sale Of Selected Patents And Patent Applications

Aware, Inc. (AWRE: Quote) said Thursday that it has completed the sale of selected patents and patent applications to Intel Corp. for $75 million.

These patents and patent applications relate to WiFi, LTE and Wireline Home Networking.

Aware said that the sale is part of its patent management operation's efforts to sell and/or license portions of the company's patent portfolio.

A leading indicator of Australian economic activity continued to signal above-trend growth for the economy in the coming quarters, a report from Westpac and Melbourne Institute showed Wednesday.
