Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan appeared on a recent edition of CNN's Piers Morgan and slammed President Barack Obama for failing to deliver on his campaign promises. Speaking with Morgan, the rocker said his chief priority in a political candidate is "moral compass," and President Obama seems to lost his.
"That's where I'm disappointed in the president, is he ran on a moral compass agenda. But, what happened? I'm sure there's lots of good reasons, and I'm sure they'll roll somebody out to counter thoughts like that. But I don't see it," Corgan revealed.
In his core, Corgan also said he's no longer an Obama supporter and that he has a deep distrust for both political parties:
"I'm at the point now where I don't trust either political party. [And] I don't see a reasonable third party independent run from anybody who is rational and going to get there . . . The choices we have are so compromised."
