Toby Keith appeared at Nashville's 3rd & Lindsley nightclub under his side project moniker, Incognito Bandito on Tuesday, June 19. The show was a benefit for Jan Grantt, the cancer-stricken wife of Kevin "Swine" Grantt, Keith's bassist.
The cover band simply plays music they like, Keith told Country Weekly:
"I was talking with some of the musicians and I asked them, 'Do you ever get to go out and just have fun and go play cover tunes?' They said that they would love to do that sometimes. We play the songs we like."
The set included tracks from Johnny Paycheck, Roger Miller, Buck Owens, Three Dog Night and Waylon Jennings.
Josh Turner, Craig Morgan, Darryl Worley, Josh Thompson, Ashton Shepherd, Trent Willmon, Carl Jackson, Larry Cordle, Jerry Salley, the Sisters and Curtis Wright also appeared at the fundraiser.
