Conrad Murray, after complaining that conditions in L.A. County Jail are unhygienic, has been granted his request for clean underwear, clothes and a new blanket, according to TMZ.
The disgraced doctor claimed to be getting fresh air only once a month and clean underwear once a week. He said he believed he would die if the situation continued.
"He looked horrible," attorney Valerie Wass told CNN, describing a visit last week with Murray. "I've never seen him like that. I'm shocked."
"But after lodging his complaints, we're told Murray saw immediate results. In fact, Connie told his lawyers a swarm of deputies came into his cell Monday morning . . . and couldn't have been more accommodating," wrote TMZ.
Murray's attorneys see that things are better, but "still characterize his living conditions as horrendous." Another source said "his spirits are much improved."
