To celebrate his chart topping single "Alone With You," Jake Owen surrounded himself with friends, family and industry peers in Nashville.
The party took place at Cabana, and as those in attendance enjoyed a variety of cocktails and pizza, Owen, alongside songwriters Catt Gravitt, JT Harding and Shane McAnally met with press in order to discuss the song's success.
"I just knew the minute I heard the song that there was something that needed to be heard," Owen told Taste of Country. "It was one of those very vulnerable tunes, coming from a guy's perspective, especially. It was something that really hadn't been done that much or that often. It was something that just struck a chord with not only females, but a lot of guys."
"Alone With You" is Owen's second No. 1 single, following last year's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night."
