Following the release of Commerce Department's new home sales report for May at 10:00 am ET, the dollar was little changed against its major opponents. As of 10:01 am ET, the greenback was trading at 79.70 against the yen, 1.2492 against the euro, 1.55610 against the pound and 0.9615 against the Swiss franc.
