"Jeopardy" host Alex Trebek is reportedly recovering comfortably after suffering a mild heart attack in Los Angeles on Saturday. According to a statement from Sony Pictures Studios, the 71-year-old is in "good spirits and plans to commence filming for the new season later this summer."

"Trebek is in good spirits and is currently under observation and undergoing further testing. He is expected to fully recover and be back at Jeopardy! when production begins taping in July for the new season, the show's 29th," say reps for the network.

This is the second heart attack for Trebeck, who suffered his first in 2007. He also worked through injury last summer, when he worked in a cast while taping after tearing his Achilles tendon. Trebek is contracted to host "Jeopardy" through 2014, but recently said he is contemplating retirement.
