Metallica headlined the Orion Music + More festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday, June 23. The metal act played all the tracks of their album Ride the Lightning in reverse order.
The group added diverse tracks from their catalogue as well including "Hit the Lights," "Master of Puppets," "The Four Horsemen," "Sad but True" and "Hell and Back."
After playing "Lightning," Metallica added "Nothing Else Matters" and "Enter Sandman" before returning with a three-song ("Battery," "One" and "Seek and Destroy") encore.
According to Rolling Stone, several of the band's members were involved in other festival activities. James Hetfield popped up in the custom car tent and bassist Rob Trujillo joined his former band, Suicidal Tendencies, onstage for five tracks.
On the second night of the Orion fest Metallica featured their Black Album in its entirety.
