Shiner International, Inc. (BEST) said Tuesday that it received a letter from Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department indicating that it was no longer in compliance with Nasdaq's independent director and audit committee requirements, due to the resignation of Brian Cunat as a member of the company's board of directors and the audit committee.
The letter, however, indicated that Nasdaq will provide Shiner a cure period in accordance with the Listing Rules.
Shiner International is a manufacturer of flexible packaging material and advanced film.
