Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts is set to premiere his hour long radio show, The Jay DeMarcus Show: Live from Flatts Shack, on June 28 (5:00 PM EST).
The first installment will feature Jared Allen of the Minnesota Vikings and hit songwriter James Slater, who penned the Flatts' hit "Unstoppable." Future installments will feature special guests and stories from the road.
"I'm very excited for the opportunity to have my own radio show! It's going to be fun to have the forum to discuss whatever I want to, without two other rascals constantly interrupting me!" DeMarcus said jokingly.
A rep from DeMarcus' radio network praised his "natural ability to hold court" and aptitude for "compelling content."
Jay's wife, CMT correspondent Allison DeMarcus, will join the program each week to give reports on entertainment.
