Erinn Hayes of Adult Swim's "Children's Hospital" will join the NBC sitcom "Guys with Kids" as a regular character. She plays Sheila, the castrating ex-wife of Chris (Jesse Bradford) who shares custody of their 9-month-old son.
According to the network, she is "an ambitious attorney who keeps Chris on a very short leash where his parenting duties are concerned."
The comedy from executive producer Jimmy Fallon, centers on thirty-something dads, Chris, Nick (Zach Cregger) and Gary (Anthony Anderson), who are pathetically clinging to their past.
Hayes, who has also starred in "Royal Pains" and "Grey's Anatomy," replaces Sara Rue, who had the role in the pilot, but is sliding over to ABC's "Malibu Country."
"Guys with Kids" premieres on Wednesday, September 12 at 10pm on NBC.
