GenCorp Inc. (GY: Quote) reported net income for the second quarter of $1.7 million or $0.03 per share, compared to net income of $0.0 million or $0.00 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Income from continuing operations for the second quarter was $1.3 million or $0.02 per share, compared to $0.5 million or $0.01 per share in the prior year quarter.
Net sales for the second quarter increased to $249.9 million from $229.9 million a year ago, manly due to increased deliveries on the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense and Atlas V programs.
