Franklin Covey Co. (FC) Thursday reported a sharp increase in profit for the third quarter, due mainly to higher revenues and improved margins.
The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company's third-quarter net profit was $1.62 million or $0.09 per share, compared to $724 thousand or $0.04 per share last year.
Total revenues for the quarter grew to $41.27 million from $40.90 million in the prior-year quarter.
For the quarter, gross margin increased to 63.3 percent from 63.0 percent in the year-ago quarter.
