Green Day have released the track list for ¡Uno!, the first disc in the punkers' forthcoming trilogy - ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!. The record contains 12 tracks, including "Carpe Diem," which the band has played live several times. The album's first single "Oh Love," the album closer, premieres July 16.
The release dates for ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré! are September 25, November 13 and January 15 (2013), respectively.
The sound of the LPs is "somewhere between AC/DC and the early Beatles," frontman Billy Joe Armstrong says. "We wanted something punchier, more power pop," Armstrong told Rolling Stone.
"The last two records were studio albums," he added. "This one - we started rehearsing every day, constructing these songs together. It felt like we were all in a room jamming - everyone in the mix, throwing out ideas. If you listen to it, it feels grand. But it also feels like a garage band."
Track list for ¡Uno!:
"Nuclear Family"
"Stay The Night"
"Carpe Diem"
"Let Yourself Go"
"Kill The DJ"
"Fell For You"
"Loss Of Control"
"Troublemaker"
"Angel Blue"
"Sweet 16"
"Rusty James"
"Oh Love"
