Estonia's industrial production decreased at a significantly slower pace in May, data released by Statistics Estonia showed Friday.
Industrial production decreased 0.8 percent on an annual basis in May, notably slower than the 4.1 percent decrease seen in April.
Energy production fell 7.1 percent year-on-year, while manufacturing output decreased 0.4 percent during the month. Meanwhile, there was a 2.3 percent increase in production in the mining sector, data showed.
On a monthly basis, industrial output increased a seasonally adjusted 1.1 percent in May, slightly slower than the 1.2 percent gain recorded in the previous month.
